Terms of Use

EasySign is an online (SaaS) service that lets account holders upload documents, generate unique signing links, and collect digital signatures — typically from a mobile phone.

The service provides a basic electronic signature as defined under Israel's Electronic Signature Law, 5761-2001. This is generally valid for most civil contracts in Israel but is not a certified electronic signature. You are responsible for determining whether a certified signature is required for your specific use case.

Administrators: registered users who manage documents, templates, and profile via phone (SMS) authentication.

Signers: people who open a public signing link (/sign/...) without an account. Signers may optionally sign in to save an encrypted personal copy.

Registration uses a phone number and SMS code. The service is primarily designed for Israeli numbers but may accept international formats.

You must be 18 or older. You are responsible for securing your account and device.

End-to-end encryption (E2EE) is optional and enabled from profile settings. When enabled, document content is not readable by the operator. Your master passphrase is never stored on our servers — losing it may permanently prevent access to encrypted documents.

Without E2EE, document and signature files are stored on Google Firebase servers and are accessible to the operator for storage and service operation.

For encrypted documents, the decryption key is delivered in the browser URL fragment and is never sent to the server.

In addition to the basic signature, an administrator may mark a document for "secure signing". In this tier the signer must verify their phone (SMS code) shortly before signing, the signature is cryptographically bound to the document content via SHA-256 hashes, and signing is finalized on the server.

For a secure document, the service produces a PDF containing the original document plus an audit page (time, masked verified phone, IP address, and browser identification). The file is digitally signed by the server and may include a trusted timestamp (RFC 3161) — so any change to the file after signing is detectable.

New secure-signing documents are stored without end-to-end encryption, so the server can assemble and sign the audit file. Secure signing is still not a "certified electronic signature" under Israel's Electronic Signature Law, 5761-2001.

An administrator who uploads a document is responsible for having a lawful basis to collect signatures and process third-party personal data contained in the document.

You must not upload illegal, misleading, offensive, or rights-infringing content.

Free plan: up to 2 documents. Pro: ₪20/month — up to 20 documents per month. Unlimited: ₪50/month — no monthly document cap, subject to fair use and storage limits.

Payment is handled outside the app, usually via WhatsApp, after contacting the operator. Plan limits are enforced manually until automated enforcement is implemented.

Prices may change with 30 days' notice on the website. Distance-sale cancellation: you may cancel a paid subscription within 14 days of purchase under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, provided no material use was made during that period. Refunds are handled via [email protected].

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant the operator a limited license to store, transmit, and process it solely to provide the service.

The EasySign brand, design, and code belong to the operator.

You may not use the service to:

• Distribute malware, commit fraud, or harass others
• Bypass security, access others' data, or run automated scraping
• Violate applicable law or third-party rights

The service is provided "as is" on a best-effort basis. Maintenance, outages, or third-party infrastructure (Google Firebase, Cloudflare) may affect availability.

You may request account deletion at [email protected]. The operator may suspend access for violations of these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator's liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months before the event, or ₪100 if none were paid.

The operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or document loss due to a lost E2EE passphrase.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction: courts in the Tel Aviv district.
